六波羅夷。墮焰熱地獄，一晝夜。人間一千六百年，為天一日，四萬八千年為一月，五十七萬六千年為一年，五百七十六萬年為十年，五千七百六十萬年為百年，五十七千六百萬年為千年，五百七十六千萬年為十千歲，三百四十五千六百萬年為六千歲，共計九百二十一千六百萬年為十六千歲。（大數而論，如鈔所合。）

Sixth, pārājika: one falls into the Tapana hell for one day and night. One thousand six hundred human years equal one celestial day, forty-eight thousand years equal one month, five hundred seventy-six thousand years equal one year, five million seven hundred sixty thousand years equal ten years, fifty-seven million six hundred thousand years equal one hundred years, five hundred seventy-six million years equal one thousand years, five billion seven hundred sixty million years equal ten thousand years, three billion four hundred fifty-six million years equal six thousand years, totaling nine billion two hundred sixteen million years for sixteen thousand years.
