四十四。（迦留陀夷念前戒開手及戶處坐，即與女人在戶扉後坐，共語招譏故制。）若準《戒本》，亦標食家，乃是因前而制。至於論犯，不必假夫，故略之耳。

[Precept] Forty-four. (Udāyin, mindful that the previous precept permitted stretching the hand and sitting within reach of the door, then sat behind the door leaf with a woman and conversed together, incurring criticism; on this account it was prohibited.) According to the Prātimokṣa, it also specifies a family with food, which was prohibited due to what preceded. As for discussing the offense, it does not necessarily depend on the husband, so it is omitted.
