四十七。（佛在釋翅瘦，施主請僧給藥；六群求難得藥，彼為市求，便呵罵之，因制。）戒名。四月，且從緣說，準下《僧祇》一月半月。

Forty-seven. (When the Buddha was in Śākyadaridra, a donor invited the Saṃgha to provide medicine; the ṣaḍvargika sought difficult-to-obtain medicine, and when he went to the market to seek it, they scolded him; hence it was prohibited.) Precept name: "Four months" is provisionally stated according to the circumstance; according to the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya below, it may be one month or half a month.
