初緣者。《多論》：十三難，顛狂比丘，吉羅；學悔，六夜別住，四羯磨，僧尼互疑悔，皆提。

Regarding the initial conditions: the Sarvāstivāda Vinaya Vibhāṣā [states]: the thirteen impediments, and insane bhikṣus, are duṣkṛtas; probation (śikṣādatta), six nights of living apart (mānāpya), the four karmans, and mutual suspicion and repentance between monks and nuns, are all pāyattikas.
