七十七。（佛在舍衛，六群聽諸比丘鬪已，而向彼說，令諍不滅，故制。）

Seventy-seven. (The Buddha was in Śrāvastī. The group of six listened to the bhikṣus fighting and then spoke of it to others, preventing the dispute from ceasing; therefore it was instituted.)
