第二《僧祇》，初明制。僧床犯者，亦約作成為言。搘謂承藉之物。若下，明開。注明禮佛。世多處床，可開濕處，餘處不得；又止八寸，不得更高。

In the second, from the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya, it first clarifies the prohibition. The offense concerning a Saṃgha bed is also spoken of in terms of completing its manufacture. 'Supports' (搘) refers to props underneath. Below, 'if...', it clarifies exceptions. The note indicates bowing to the Buddha. In the world, many make use of beds; it can be allowed in damp places, but not in other places; moreover, it is limited to eight inches and must not be taller.
