作持中，初句牒名。惡下，釋義，初躡前生起。必下，釋作義。持下，指略。三節同前，應以前文續之，但改止為作；應舉事云：衣鉢體量等。

In "Maintenance through Action," the first line cites the name. Below "evil," the meaning is explained, first picking up what precedes to generate what follows. Below "must," it explains the meaning of action. Below "maintenance," it points out the abbreviation. The three clauses are the same as before; one should continue with the previous text, merely changing "cessation" to "action"; one should adduce matters, saying: the substance and measurements of robes and bowls, etc.
