In listing the conditions: this merely summarizes the preceding methods of ordination to directly show what is correct and incorrect; the phân-matching explanations have already been fully detailed above. Those who have heard it long already know it and do not delight in burdensome explanations; new learners who do not yet understand it may look for it on their own, hence it is only briefly pointed out. First, five conditions are listed, all of which come from the Mātṛkā. In the third: first, it clarifies that the recipient knows [the status of] the masters down to minor offenses; from "comprehensively looking at" downward, it clarifies that the ten masters mutually know [one another's status], solely based on serious pārājikas. "The mind not possessing the Dharma" refers to those who lack the precepts, such as the thirteen obstacles, or the white-robed [laymen] in the Daśādhyāya-vinaya.
