四明相成，總指中。塞謂自起方便，後趣正果，即是自業相成；此如常途，故云易解。通義如前，一中具四，故云無異。自業與教人，事有不同，故云相別；如下可見。

Fourth, explaining mutual accomplishment: in the general reference, 'obstruction' means that one gives rise to preparatory stages oneself and subsequently proceeds toward the principal fruit, which is mutual accomplishment within one's own karma; this is like the common path and therefore said to be easy to understand. The meaning of non-obstruction is as before: within one, four are present, and therefore it is said there is no difference. One's own karma and instructing others involve different matters, and therefore it is said they are distinguished from each other, as can be seen below.
