《善見》中，初標示。諸下，校量，初總舉法喻。光山是喻。學即是法；戒定慧三，故言諸也。日下，別對顯勝。若下，出其所以。此與《多論》初義頗同。

In the Samantapāsādikā: first, it indicates [the topic]. From "all" downward, in measuring: first, it generally presents the dharma and metaphor. The mountain of light is the metaphor. Learning is the dharma; the three trainings of precepts, concentration, and wisdom are why it says "all." From "sun" downward, it specifically contrasts them to reveal superiority. From "if" downward, it presents the reason. This is quite similar to the first meaning in the Sarvāstivāda Vinaya Vibhāṣā.
