Under 'First Emotional Fault': it is translated by two meanings—the former is in terms of the emotional offense, the latter in terms of the punishment. Next, the Sarvāstivāda Vinaya Vibhāṣā is cited to separately explain the next name. Under 2: the note indicating before and after is still the same as the ancients' determination; according to the Precept Commentary, based on the saṃghāvaśeṣa, it must still be repented afterward. Under 3: first, translating the name. 'Before...' below explains the meaning, also in two: first, listing and showing the two meanings. 'Due to...' below provides the reason: first, it clarifies one's own joy. 'Former joy' means that the days of concealing the practice are completed. 'Few days' means six nights. 'The assembly...' below clarifies the Saṃgha's joy. Under 4: first, translating the name, there are two. The first name means that through the Saṃgha's karma, one can enter the two kinds of Saṃgha; the next name is as explained in the treatise below. In the treatise: the upper two sentences are generating good and eliminating evil; the lower sentence means that because one is extracted by the Saṃgha, one does not fall into the place of offenses; hence it says 'rising and going'.
