羯磨中。注文，初令依用。若下，點律所闕。古羯磨即曇諦出者，謂翻譯家用入律故。彼云：大德僧聽！比丘某甲犯某僧殘罪覆藏；此比丘某甲犯僧殘罪，隨覆藏日已，從僧乞覆藏羯磨；若僧時，到僧忍；聽僧今與比丘某甲隨覆藏日羯磨，白如是。鈔中加改，比之可見。而云：犯某僧殘，不提罪相；隨覆藏日，言相浮漫，不足依之。

In the karmavācanā: the commentary notes first instruct one to rely on and use it. From "if" below, it points out what the vinaya lacks. The ancient karmavācanā is the one issued by Dharmasatya, meaning that translators brought it into the vinaya. It says: "May the Venerable Saṃgha listen! Bhikṣu So-and-so committed a certain saṃghāvaśeṣa offense and concealed it; this Bhikṣu So-and-so, having committed a saṃghāvaśeṣa offense, has already requested from the saṃgha the concealment karmavācanā according to the days concealed; if the saṃgha's time has arrived, may the saṃgha agree: the saṃgha now grants Bhikṣu So-and-so the karmavācanā according to the days concealed; this is the motion." Additions and changes in the Manual can be seen by comparison. But to say: "committed a certain saṃghāvaśeṣa" without mentioning the mark of the offense, and "according to the days concealed", is vague and broad in phrasing, and not worthy of being relied upon.
