Under "Deportment", it first explains the arrangement of the robes and objects; from "that" onward, it subsequently shows the protocol of relinquishing robes. In the first part, it previously explained wrapping them in separate bundles. From "If" onward, it shows separation and combination: it first explains when they may be combined, meaning that among the three bundles, different pieces are bound together. From "Furthermore" onward, it shows the necessity of separating them: in order to distinguish forgotten defilement. Extra [robes] originally have defilement, due to greedy accumulation; separated [robes] are definitely free of defilement, because they are objects kept by formal reception; that miscellaneous relinquishment is interchangeable is based on there being originally no defilement, yet because the relinquished items when returned enter purification they become defiled, so it is said to be interchangeable. However, based on the relinquishing of possessions, there may not necessarily be forgotten items; it is only to express the difference between the three grades that separate bundles are required. Personal explanation: Furthermore, because returned possessions have the difference of being returned on the next day versus right at the session, they must be kept in separate places. Although separated robes are similarly [returned] right at the session, the procedures of receiving and purifying them differ, so they are again divided into two.
