Under "Relinquishing the Offense and Begging before the Saṅgha", it first shows the deportment. From "The mouth" onward, it next presents the verbal formula: first, asking them to listen and naming oneself; second, from "intentionally storing" onward, reciting and demonstrating both relinquishments; from "now following" onward, formally explaining the request for repentance. In reciting the violations, there are again three [parts]: first, regarding extra possessions. In the interlinear notes, because objects can admit defilement and violation, with cases that exceed and do not exceed [the limits], one must recite accordingly; if there is exceeding, it should be added to "not declaring purification." Next, regarding separated robes: in the notes there are three passages; the above screens extra and separated, reciting marks that are general and specific. Next, it clarifies that borrowed robes do not need to be relinquished. Below, it marks extra possessions whose use is broken. In the proper begging: the note says "incomplete" because that text only says "joining palms and speaking the names and kinds of offenses, perform repentance like this"; here it is added based on the principle.
