次科，問中。根條互倒，恐謂成法故。答中。例決，律中懺殘；先悔覆藏，後出本罪，法有倫次。倒作違教，準理不成。

In the next section, in the question: it is feared that root and branch being inverted might still be thought to constitute a valid rite. In the answer: determined by analogy, in the Vinaya's repentance of saṅghāvaśeṣa, one first repents concealment and afterwards brings out the root offense; the Dharma has a proper sequence. To perform it in inverted order violates the teaching, and by principle it is invalid.
