方軌中，初科，前引本律。即眾學中文。故心二罪，誤但一罪，而無對責兩懺，故云不分等。次引三論。罪懺兩具，可決今宗，而探責諸師偏執，故云通衢顯也。《摩夷》即《母論》。

In the standard rules: in the first section, the base Vinaya is cited first, which is the text in the Śaikṣa section. An intentional mind incurs two offenses, while a mistake incurs only one offense; yet without the two repentances of facing another or self-reproach, it says "without distinguishing, etc." Next, the three treatises are cited. Both offenses and repentances are complete, which can resolve our school's position; exploring and criticizing the one-sided attachments of various masters, it says "the thoroughfare is clear." The Mayi is the Mother Treatise (Mātṛkā).
