不作相中。上下兩段，不顯罪名，注文並斷蘭者。以不打鐘，或結主掌，或通主客。次空寺中，顯是無主，亦由不作相犯；準必作相，理得啖之。

Under "not making the mark": the two sections above and below do not reveal the name of the offense, but the notes both determine it as a sthūlātyaya. Because the bell was not struck, it either binds the guardian or applies commonly to host and guest. Next, in the deserted monastery, it is evident that there is no owner, yet one also commits an offense because of not making the mark; accordingly, if one must make the mark, in principle one is permitted to eat it.
