次科。以錢出利，如母生子，故名息也。西竺，三寶各有無盡財；謂常存供養，滋生不竭故。干雜，謂相亂，此句通結上文。

The next section. Using money to produce profit is like a mother giving birth to children, hence it is called "interest." In India, each of the Three Jewels has inexhaustible property; this means that offerings are kept permanently, multiplying without exhaustion. "Confounding" means confusing one with another; this sentence concludes the passage above.
