二中，初引經。餘下，準判。以彼病者，尚須倍還；況不病者，不開明矣。與下，和會。經律開制，極成相反；於義可疑，在文有妨。彼經云：出家菩薩，若畜出家弟子，先當教告，令不放逸；若闕所須，病時當為求覓；若自無，應貸三寶物；若差，十倍還之；以出家弟子，猶通道俗，故云文似也。

In the second: first, citing the sūtra. From "The rest..." downward, judging accordingly. Since even that sick person must repay tenfold, how much more so for one who is not sick: it is clear that it is not permitted. From "With..." downward, harmonizing. The permissions and prohibitions of the sūtra and Vinaya are completely opposite; this is questionable in principle and presents an obstruction in the text. That sūtra says: if a renunciant bodhisattva keeps a renunciant disciple, he should first instruct and admonish him so that he is not negligent; if he lacks requisites, when sick he should seek them for him; if he has none himself, he should borrow from the Three Jewels' property; if he recovers, he shall repay tenfold. Because a renunciant disciple can still be taken as referring to both monastics and laity, it says "the text seems to be so."
