總分中。正主，即是物主，損彼物故。護主，即看守人；雖非彼物，失必填償，還成損護故。

In the general division: the 'principal owner' is the owner of the object, because their property is damaged. The 'guardian owner' is the custodian; although the property is not theirs, if it is lost they must make compensation, which also results in harm to the guardian.
