初中，《善見》文為二；前明護主謹慎，則損本主。以無陪償理故。若主下，次明護主懈慢，則損護主。以須償故。

In the first, the Samantapāsādikā text has two parts: first, it clarifies that if the guardian owner is prudent, it harms the original owner, because there is no principle of compensation. 'If the owner,' and so forth, next clarifies that if the guardian owner is negligent, it harms the guardian owner, because they must make compensation.
