定奪中，初科。律論不同者，律如後引，論即前文。判罪，謂犯已處斷。攝護，謂專精持奉；今從攝護以定錢體。故下，引證，即受法說相中文。

Under adjudication, the first section. "Treatises and vinayas differ": vinayas are as cited below, and treatises are as in the preceding text. "Judging offenses" refers to determining penalties after a violation has occurred. "Subsuming and guarding" refers to diligently upholding and observing; now we follow subsuming and guarding to determine the substance of the coins. "Therefore..." and below cites proof, which is the text in "Explaining the Marks" upon receiving the dharma.
