三中。好馬勝於餘畜，故罪分二品。今世愚僧多畜猫狗，求合雌雄，一一吉罪。制急過重，知者誡之。

In the third: fine horses are superior to other animals, so the sin is divided into two grades. Foolish monks of the present age often keep cats and dogs and seek to mate the male and female; each incurs a duṣkṛta. The prohibition is stringent and the fault is grave; let those who know take warning.
