正示中。廣長字寫互，比對戒本及疏，迴易讀之。次引《善見》示量法。下引《僧祇》明竪量，使有分齊；必過此外，應非正犯。

In the direct demonstration: the characters "breadth" and "length" were transposed by scribes; compare them against the Prātimokṣa and the commentary, and reverse them when reading. Next, the Samantapāsādikā is cited to demonstrate the method of measuring. Below, the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya is cited to clarify the vertical measurement, establishing a clear boundary; if it must exceed this, it should not constitute a principal offense.
