辨異中，初示相。異事即見羊淫，此事謂比同人犯。疏云：若異事見，向僧道聞；便是無根，落在前戒；餘根準此。事不下顯名。假謂詐託別事，意表有根；如下五異，俱名假也。

Under "Distinguishing differences," first it indicates the marks. "A different matter" refers to seeing the sheep copulating; "this matter" refers to analogizing it to a human committing it. The commentary says: "If one sees a different matter and reports to the saṃgha that one heard it, then it is groundless and falls under the previous precept; the other grounds correspond to this." From "The matter does not..." downward reveals the name. "Pretext" means falsely relying on another matter, intending to show that there is a ground; as in the five differences below, all are called pretexts.
