五中。難開緣如盜戒。寄語來學，細覽斯文。且心識非愚，耳目猶具；何事終年講讀，殊無一句染神；豈異盲聾，信同土木。必懷高操，勿混下流；不唯沈屈平生，更乃毀傷三寶。願詳聖訓，返照自心；忽悟前非，早須改迹。

In the fifth: The emergency exception conditions are like those in the precept against stealing. I convey a message to future students: examine this text closely. Furthermore, one's mind and consciousness are not foolish, and one's ears and eyes are still intact; for what reason would one lecture and read all year round yet not have a single phrase taint one's spirit? How is that different from being blind and deaf, truly the same as earth and wood? If you certainly cherish lofty conduct, do not mingle with the low stream; not only will you submerge and bring grievance to your whole life, but you will also damage the Triratna. May you scrutinize the holy instructions and reflect back upon your own mind; suddenly awaken to your former faults, and quickly alter your tracks!
