釋第三緣，明分齊中。言地了者，即明相現，方維可辨故。指同前者，上云過限作吉羅懺。

In explaining the third condition, clarifying the boundary: Saying 'the ground is clear' means that the dawn mark appears and directions can be distinguished. 'Indicating the same as before' refers to what was said above: exceeding the limit requires repenting a duṣkṛta.
