餘緣中，初科。第二屬己定者，雖是己長，忘等緣差，容不定屬故。言忘等者，即下八門不犯，皆非定也。三中，注綿毛者，此約不成衣相者為言。

In the remaining conditions, the first section: The second, 'belonging to oneself is fixed', is because even though it is one's own extra robe, if there is a divergence of conditions such as forgetting, it may not definitely belong to oneself. Stating 'forgetting and so forth' refers to the eight gates of non-offense below, none of which are fixed. In the third, the note on 'cotton and wool' is stated with respect to materials that do not constitute the marks of a robe.
