僧尼中。諸部名數不同，《僧祇》六十六，《十誦》百單七，《五分》數同而相別，故標此律簡之。尼戒本中，不列眾學；指略如僧，相同故也。

Under [the comparison of] monks and nuns: the names and numbers in the various schools differ; the Mahāsāṃghika has 66, the Daśādhyāya 107, and the Mahīśāsaka has the same number but different characteristics, hence this vinaya is indicated to differentiate them. In the nuns' prātimokṣa, the training rules for all are not listed; they are referred to in brief as being like the monks', because their characteristics are identical.
