二中，初明僧村相外有別界。言中分者，各取半故；隨處遠近，不必十三步。如下，指例。

Under the second [section]: it first explains that outside the perimeter of the saṅgha village there is a distinct boundary. Regarding "dividing equally in the middle", each takes half; depending on the distance of the location, it is not necessarily thirteen paces. As below, it points out parallel examples.
