2.689

第三中，初約緣定境。《僧祇》簡餘輕物。無犯者，望墮為言，非無輕吉。疏云：衣多喜與故重，鉢唯有一故輕。

Under the third: first, determining the object based on the condition. The Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya distinguishes other light articles. "Without offense" is spoken with respect to pāyattika, not that there is no light duṣkṛta. The Commentary states: "Robes are easily given in abundance, so it is heavy; an almsbowl is only one, so it is light."
