第六。（佛在舍衛，跋難陀為人說法，索所著衣，俛仰與之；單衣入城，俗譏因制。）名中。簡親及道，皆非犯故。

The sixth [precept]. (The Buddha was in Śrāvastī; Upananda preached the Dharma to someone and solicited the robe he was wearing; bowing down, he gave it to him; entering the city in a single robe, the laity ridiculed him, and the rule was formulated accordingly.) In the name: it excludes relatives and monastics, as neither constitutes an offense.
