三中。言自恣者，明非為失故施，反釋上緣。餘殘問者，若言為失故與者，則不應取。曹，輩也。（注戒欲受上無彼字。）

In the third. Mentioning "at will" clarifies that it is not given because of the loss, which conversely explains the above condition. Asking about the remainder: if it was said to be given because of the loss, then one should not take it. Cao means group or sort. (In the commentary note on the precept, above "desiring to receive," the character bi [that] is absent.)
