緣中。先有故者，準此無故即應不犯。然制揲故，本為壞好；無故不揲，貪好不殊；豈得無犯，請試詳之。

Under conditions: "Previously having an old one"—according to this, having no old one should mean no offense. However, the prohibition of stitching on the old was originally to spoil the fine appearance; if without an old one one does not stitch, craving for the fine appearance is no different; how could there be no offense? Please try to examine this closely.
