制意中。一行濁招譏，二因交致諍，三增貪障道。制戒防約，滅惡生善故也。

Regarding the intent of the prohibition: first, the foulness of the action incurs criticism; second, transactions lead to disputes; third, it increases greed and obstructs the Path. Precepts were established to guard and restrict, thereby extinguishing evil and giving rise to good.
