次科。引文有六，並明重者開僧禁別。《母論》畢陵伽婆蹉，此云餘習。（五百生惡性麁言，今得道果，餘習在故。）兩引《善見》，田池別故。《多論》施別為容多人，即是僧故。

The second section. There are six cited passages, all explaining that for valuable items exceptions are granted to the Saṃgha but prohibited for individuals. The Mātṛkā mentions Pilindavatsa, which is translated here as "residual habit." (Having had a wicked nature and harsh speech for five hundred lifetimes, even though he has now attained the fruit of the Path, his residual habit remains.) The Sudarśanavibhāṣā is cited twice, distinguishing fields from ponds. In the Sarvāstivāda Vinaya Vibhāṣā, giving to an individual to accommodate many people means it is in fact for the Saṃgha.
