四中。彼取五人持律能辦邊受，佛法住世。四人雖僧，未全大用，故不聽也。文中通舉諸物，馬當此攝，餘屬前章。

Regarding the fourth [case]: that takes five persons who maintain the Vinaya and are able to carry out tasks as receiving on the frontier, so that the Buddha-Dharma may abide in the world. Although four persons constitute a Saṃgha, they do not yet possess the full great function, hence it is not permitted. In the text, various items are mentioned generally; horses are subsumed under this, while the rest belong to the preceding chapter.
