2.87

別明中，初文，初明好心犯盜。或下，次明慈心犯殺。竝見下戒。不以下，示犯所以。即下，引證。殘下諸聚，竝加愚癡，故云乃至等。

In the separate explanation, the first text first explains committing theft with a good intention. From 'Or...' onward, it next explains committing killing with a compassionate mind. Both are seen in the precepts below. From 'Not because...' onward, it shows the reason for the offense. From 'Namely...' onward, it cites proof. From saṃghāvaśeṣa downward, the various groups all add foolishness, hence it says 'and so forth'.
