單提中。九十三十，同一提篇；但因財事有無，故使類分前後；欲使結犯易明，懺法無濫故也。

Concerning the simple pāyattika: the ninety and the thirty belong to the same pāyattika category; it is only due to the presence or absence of property and material things that their classes are divided into former and latter, with the wish to make the determining of offenses easy to understand, and so that the methods of repentance are not conflated.
