犯緣。第一律列十眾，道俗各五。俗五眾者，二眾已外，加王、臣、外道。《戒疏》云：當類犯提，餘九皆吉。

Conditions for violation. In the first condition, the Vinaya lists ten classes of persons, five ordained and five lay. The five lay classes are: in addition to the two [lay] assemblies, kings, ministers, and non-Buddhists are added. The Precept Commentary states: "One incurs a pāyattika regarding one's own class, and duṣkṛta for the other nine."
