決通中，初決所誦之法，《僧祇》。餘人，即天仙。佛印可者，還同佛說。本宗但通四人，故注以示之。《善見》，初明佛說。若下，簡餘人說；《十誦》下，次決結犯分齊。品及章段，名異義同；隨經所立，故具列之。一部多品，隨得多罪。此下，點律通漫。

In deciding and resolving doubts: first, deciding the texts chanted, citing the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya. "Other persons" refers to devas and ṛṣis. Those approved by the Buddha are treated the same as spoken by the Buddha. Since our own school extends only to four kinds of persons, an interlinear note is used to show this. Citing the Samantapāsādikā: first, it clarifies what the Buddha spoke. From "If..." onward, it screens out what other persons spoke. From the Daśādhyāya-vinaya onward, it next determines the scope of incurring offenses. "Chapters" and "sections" differ in name but are the same in meaning; they are fully listed according to how each sūtra establishes them. For a single work with many chapters, one incurs offenses corresponding to each one obtained. From here onward, it points out that the Vinaya text is overly general.
