初緣中，初科。《五分》通單白，《四分》唯白二。餘人即佐助者。誣謂欺枉。《四分》緣起，即沓婆羅漢厭無學身，求堅固法；佛令營僧事，羯磨請之。

In the first condition, the first section: the Mahīśāsaka-vinaya allows a simple motion (jñapti), whereas the Dharmaguptaka-vinaya requires a jñaptidvitīyā karmavācanā. "Other persons" refers to assistants. "Falsely accusing" means slandering and wronging. The Dharmaguptaka-vinaya's origin story is that the arhat Dabba, weary of his body in the stage of non-learning, sought a steadfast Dharma; the Buddha instructed him to manage the affairs of the saṃgha and had the saṃgha appoint him by karman.
