3.132

三中，初科。給住房者，即制舊住待客比丘法，或彼有缺故。房衣即障幕等。複貯如今時給絮衣也。寄俗須染者，有所別故。《五分》。即比丘以衣借俗。

In the third, the first heading: 'supplying room furnishings' refers to the regulations for resident monks attending to visiting bhikṣus, or when those [rooms] lack something. 'Room garments' are screens, curtains, and the like. 'Double-padded' means supplying padded garments as is done today. 'Entrusted to laity must be dyed' is in order to make a distinction. In the *Mahīśāsaka-vinaya*, this refers to a bhikṣu lending garments to laypeople.
