錢寶法中，初標舉。律下，示法。守園人，《戒經》所謂僧伽藍民也。文中但云持至，不顯自他。故下約義據文決之。令知是物，謂先須淨語也。餘指三十者，前云：若彼取還與比丘者，當為彼人物故受，勅淨人掌舉（謂不解淨法，反還比丘也。）；若得淨衣鉢，應持貿易受持。

In the method for money and valuables: First, it states the heading. Below 'Vinaya...', it shows the method. The park keeper is what the *Prātimokṣa-sūtra* calls an *ārāmika*. The text only says 'carrying it to', without indicating whether it is oneself or another. Therefore, below it resolves this according to principle and based on the text. 'Making them know it is an item' means that words of purification must first be spoken. The rest points to the thirty [niḥsargika-pāyattika rules]; earlier it says: 'If that person takes it back and gives it to the bhikṣu, he should receive it on behalf of that person's property and order a pure person to manage and store it (meaning, not understanding the method of purification, he returns it to the bhikṣu); if one obtains pure robes or bowls, one should use them to trade and hold them by determination.'
