簡德中。論即《多論》，律即《十誦》。泛爾常人，謂無名德者。恐疑同寺不應失法，故注示之。

In screening virtues: The treatise is the *Sarvāstivāda Vinaya Vibhāṣā*, and the Vinaya is the *Daśādhyāya-vinaya*. An ordinary person in general means one without notable virtue. Fearing doubts that living in the same monastery should not cause a loss of the procedure, the note points this out.
