3.183

非時僧得中，初示名相。三時總指一歲，以釋非時。不局一界，通攝十方，即明僧得也。將下，次明分法。斷字上呼，止也。

In "non-timely and acquired by the Saṃgha": it first indicates the names and marks. The three seasons refer generally to one full year, in order to explain non-timely. Not being restricted to one boundary and comprehensively encompassing the ten directions explains "acquired by the Saṃgha." "Taking below" next explains the method of division. The character duan (斷) is read in the rising tone; it means to stop.
