白二淨中，須結為二，初正明。伽藍者，簡處非他物也。院周匝者，簡不周也。不問久近，簡處分也。除比丘者，結已不容僧住也。《毘尼》下，引證。準知無淨地處，不合進口也。

Under 'Jñaptidvitīyā-pure,' it must be concluded as two; first, it clarifies directly. 'Saṅghārāma' excludes places that are another's property. 'The courtyard being completely enclosed' excludes being not fully enclosed. 'Without asking whether recent or long past' excludes designation. 'Excluding bhikṣus' means that once demarcated, it does not allow monks to reside there. 'Vinaya...' below cites evidence. Based on this, one knows that in places without a pure ground, it is not permissible to put [food] into the mouth.
