擔持中，《十誦》，初明轉淨。不共要者，本無心故。使下，次明緣開。以沙彌小，力不勝故。若不下，三明簡除。同《僧祇》者，前云得扟取中央也。飯下，四明佐助。天下，五明自舉。注文，點上淨器。

Under 'Carrying and holding', the Daśādhyāya-vinaya: first, it explains the transference of purity. 'Not having an agreement': because there was originally no intention. 'Employing...' secondly explains exceptions based on conditions. Because the novice is young and his strength is insufficient. 'If not...' thirdly explains elimination. 'Same as the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya': earlier it said one may take from the center. 'Rice...' fourthly explains assisting. 'Heaven...' fifthly explains lifting it oneself. The note points out the pure utensils above.
