第八中，初引論四段，初敘本制緣。若作下，二明遇緣再受。即如上引，更加餘藥相雜。若藥下，三明迷忘重加。若病下，四明重病代受。

In the eighth: first, four passages from the treatise are cited: first, recounting the conditions of the original rule; from "If doing..." downward, second, explaining re-reception upon encountering conditions, which is as cited above, adding other medicines in admixture; from "If the medicine..." downward, third, explaining re-adding authorization upon delusion or forgetfulness; from "If the ill..." downward, fourth, explaining receiving on another's behalf in severe illness.
