四中。前三望坐，坐是正修，故名助緣；若望心觀，坐亦緣耳。繫念思量，即修正觀。斬纏，即破惑；出要，即證理。

In the fourth: the previous three look forward to sitting; sitting is the principal practice, hence they are called auxiliary conditions. If looking toward mental contemplation, sitting is also merely a condition. Binding one's mindfulness and reflecting is the cultivation of correct contemplation. Severing entanglements is breaking delusions; the essential escape is realizing the principle.
